Palm Beach’s Jewish congregations rally to support Israel following Hamas attacks

Jewish congregations in the town will host a series of special events and programs this week to voice support and provide financial assistance to Israel after it was attacked Saturday by Hamas militants.
New Synagogue
The congregation at 235 Sunrise Ave. will host a special twilight service at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to pray for those in Israel. Rabbi Barak Bar-Chaim will be available beginning at 5 p.m. Wednesday to counsel, speak, and teach from the Jewish tradition prior to worship. Additionally, the sanctuary will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 to 7 p.m. through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m. for Shabbat services on Friday for anyone who would like to pray or reflect. Worshippers are asked to call the synagogue at 561-514-4064 prior to arriving. Security will not grant access to the sanctuary without prior notification. For information, visit www.newsynagogue.org.
